The house was built as a school in 1960. The long narrow window in the stairwell still recalls that time. In 1989 the building found a new purpose and was carefully converted into two self-contained floors.
Today La Scuola is one spacious holiday home. Its original layout offers something rare: cook, eat and explore together while couples or generations can also enjoy their own living space, bedroom and bathroom.
The floors are joined by the characteristic stairwell, yet each offers enough room to retreat for a while.
The large kitchen-living room is the heart of the upper floor, with a table for six, a large smart TV and valley views through the windows.
Downstairs is a second living room with fireplace and kitchenette. A smart projector and large projection wall make it perfect for cosy film nights.
Choose the room arrangement that suits your group. The two main bedrooms are spacious; the smaller rooms have cosy small double beds.

La Scuola is a real home, not an empty holiday let. Practical essentials are provided, so you can travel light and cook at leisure.
Good to know: there is no dishwasher and a car is essential.
There is seating on both sides of the house. From around two o'clock the rear is often shaded with a cooling breeze, while the front looks far across the valley.
